C1 in Slovenia – Basic skills and digital literacy:In Slovenia, 10 educators from 5 partner organizations attended the 1st LTTA, which focused on basic skills and digital literacy. The activity, which lasted for 5 working days and 1 travel day, combined a training course and fieldwork. The training addressed teaching approaches for adult learners facing multiple discrimination and covered basic competences such as literacy and digital skills. The program emphasized non-formal education methods, group cohesion, and online privacy and security. Participants also visited local organizations working in adult education for vulnerable groups.

The final day included an evaluation session, where potential improvements were discussed for future LTTAs. No critical improvements were necessary, and the process of selecting practices for inclusion in the compendium began. The results led to increased competence in providing educational programs targeting basic skills and digital literacy, a better understanding of beneficiary needs, and contributions to the compendium’s development. Unfortunately, two participants from Germany could not attend due to COVID but joined some sessions via Zoom.
