C2 in Serbia – Intercultural activities and integration:In Serbia, 9 educators from 6 partner organizations attended the 2nd LTTA, which focused on intercultural activities and integration. The activity lasted for 5 working days and 1 travel day, combining a training course and fieldwork. The training addressed approaches to fostering intercultural cooperation and inclusion, focusing on groups with varying ethnic and religious backgrounds. The program emphasized working with vulnerable adults from different cultural contexts and handling potential conflicts.

Two partner organizations collaborated in organizing the LTTA, which was also attended by adult learners sharing their perspectives. Participants visited local organizations working with adult education and groups facing multiple discrimination. The final day included an evaluation session, where improvements for future LTTAs were discussed. Although no critical changes were needed, participants found the schedule strenuous, so future LTTAs were planned to be less demanding.

The results included increased competences in working with diverse learner groups, enhanced empathy and understanding of cultural differences, intercultural mediation basics, and contributions to the compendium’s development. Due to COVID complications, Germany, Greece, and Poland sent only 1 participant each.
