C3 in Greece – Conflict resolution and managing stress
In Greece, 12 educators from 6 partner organizations attended the 3rd LTTA, which focused on working with people with mental disorders and refugees. The activity lasted for 5 working days and 1 travel day, combining a training course and fieldwork. The training addressed conflict resolution and stress management for educators working with vulnerable groups. It emphasized detecting and resolving conflicts in groups of learners using non-formal education methods and improving stress management, setting boundaries, and resilience for educators.
Participants visited local organizations working with adult education and groups facing multiple discrimination. Several projects were presented, showcasing various approaches in the field. On the final day, an evaluation session was held to discuss potential improvements for future LTTAs. No critical changes were needed, and the process of selecting practices for inclusion in the compendium began.
The results included improved conflict resolution and stress management skills, better understanding of non-formal education methods, increased international dimension of adult education, and contributions to the compendium’s development.
